BEAUTIFUL CARVING BY ISAAC AMITOOK FROM SANIKILUAQ (ARCTIC CANADA).

This is a seal hunting scene - a hunter with his sharp harpoon on the ice and a seal head over the water.


This sculpture is LARGE, it measures over 9.5 inches long and 4 inches wide.
 
The sculpture is signed by the artist Isaac Amitook (from Sanikiluaq, Nunuvt).

This Hunter and seal are carved out of argillite, hunter's harpoon - out of wood and sharp metal.
