This carving is LARGE, it measures 9" long, 6.5" tall, 2" wide. 

The sculpture is made out of serpentine.

The carving is signed by the artist on the bottom and also comes with an igloo tag (certificate of authenticity)

Community: Cape Dorset
Pavinaq's father, the late Aggeak Petaulassie (1983), was also a carver. 
His mother Timangiak, and brothers Qatsiya and Etidlui are also carvers artists in Cape Dorset.
"My father used to tell me about carving...I like carving in stone because it is easier to work with." Inuit Art Section Nov. 1994.
