This sculpture measures 12" long X 6" X 5". It's HUGE! It's a HEAVY piece too. VERY IMPRESSIVE!
The sculpture is made out of white marble.
The carving is completely perfect. No imperfections!
The movement and lines on this bear are extraordinary. Proportions are almost identical to that of a moving bear. This is what makes this piece so unique and valuable. The time and expertise it takes an artist to make these proportions perfect are endless. 90% of a carvings value is determined on its proportions.
This is a remarkable piece with textured waved lines passing through the body which really illuminate it in its entirety. It has very smooth and solid grains.
