This carving measures 6" long, 2" wide, 2.5 tall
The sculpture is made out of Sanikiluaq stone argillite.
The carving is signed by the artist on the bottom and also comes with an igloo tag (certificate of authenticity)

The very unique feature about this carving is its color, beautiful light green. It's very rare to find a stone of this color in Sanikiluaq. Only one out of a hundred carvings is made out argillite of this beautiful color.

Initially taught by local school and watching other carvers
Art: birds, seals and owls.
Silas also works at the co-op, trying to become manager. Silas is volunteer for Youth Committee for recreation at the Hamlet of Sanikiluaq.
