BEAUTIFUL LOON CARVING BY ISAAC AMITOOK FROM SANIKILUAQ (ARCTIC CANADA).
 
This sculpture is large and measures 8 inches Long and 4 inches wide.
 
The carving is completely perfect, it's brand new! 
 
The sculpture is signed by the artist Isaac Amitook (from Sanikiluaq, Nunuvt).
The loon is carved out of Sanikiluaq stone - argillite.

The polish is exuisite like most carvings from Sanikiluaq. The overall carving techniques and proportions are also perfect.
 
The waves against the stones grain really make this sculpture come alive. The color is a beautiful green. Most importantly, this Loon is happy. It is very positive and gives positive energy around her.
