Outstanding white drum dancer Inuit sculpture by an internationally recognized Inuit artist Lew Phillip from Iqaluit.

This drum dancer was featured in Northern Lights 2012 Exhibition in Ottawa.

 Lew carved this sculpture for the exhibition. He said that it took him two and a half weeks to make this drum dancer (it's a long time).

This drum dancer measures 8.25" tall, & 6" wide, 5" deep.

This stunning Inuit carving comes with an Igloo Tag (Certified of Authenticity).

The sculpture is made out of beautiful shiny white marble.

The carving is brand new

The sculpture is signed by the artist.

LEW PHILLIP (1947-)

Lew Phillip was born in Iqaluit, he has been carving since 1959. WOW! 50 years of carving experience! His father, the late Toongalook (1912-1967) was an artist as well. Lew is the youngest brother of four Arctic Bay artists. His brother, Philip Qamanirq, is a carver. His three sisters, Imaruituq Taqtu, Rebecca Issuqangituq, and Martha Erkasak Naqitaqvik, are also artists
