OUTSTANDING BIG DANCING BEAR CARVING BY NOO ATSIAQ. THIS MASTERPIECE WAS ACQUIRED DIRECTLY FROM HIS HANDS IN INUIT COMMUNITY CAPE DORSET (ARCTIC CANADA) JUST A WEEK AGO. THIS BEAUTIFUL SCULPTURE IS BRAND NEW!

This carving measures 7" tall, 6" wide.
It is a big bear, if it would be just standing, it would be 9" tall (actual height of the bear), but it's head is in dance motion making the carving 7" tall.

The sculpture is made out of Cape Dorset stone serpentine, in this case a very beautiful type of serpentine, gorgeous color.

The carving is completely perfect, brand new!

The proportions, the subject, and smooth polish and finish are all without a doubt - perfect! It is polished extremely well which is what gives it such a smooth texture.

The carving techniques used was done with very close attention to detail and care, as the curves and edges are extremely smooth and crisp.
